Our Library serves the Town of Valleyview, the MD of Greenview #16, and Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. We are located on Treaty 8 Territory and we acknowledge and respect the histories, languages, and cultures of all First Peoples of Canada, whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community.

Location: Begins on Main Street at 5201-50 Avenue (VVW Hotel) and walkers will walk up Main Street, turn left at 4601 50 Ave (Meckenic's) and continue to 4410-52 Ave (Jubilee Park Gazebo).

Sisters In Spirit Walk
A commemorative walk and special service to honour and remember our Indigenous Sisters and Brothers who have gone missing and whose lives have been taken. Everyone Welcome. Wear RED in support. Hand drummers welcome to bring your drums. Hosted by the Valleyview Sisters in Spirit Committee. Please dress according to the weather as the program will be held completely outside. This Walk has been organized by the Valleyview Sisters in Spirit Committee and Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee.
